Headquartered in the newly refurbished NEO Building in Manchester UK, supported by six development centres across Belarus. Godel have experienced unprecedented growth in recent years and are looking to hire a VP of Service delivery.

Job Summary

As VP of Service delivery you will be directly responsible for the management of the Service Delivery team and all operational and strategic planning of the business that falls within this area. The successful applicant will become an integral part of Godel’s senior management team and will be a key contributor to the leadership of the business. The role involves working with all departments across the organisation and therefore requires strong partnership & communication skills. Also, the leadership & talent management for the Service Delivery team. Two primary outcomes for success within this position are:
  • Client value and longevity which will be measured by client retention and client happiness.
  • The ability and skill to manage, motivate and upskill your team to perform at their very best.
Knowledge of software development, agile delivery and project management will be necessary for any successful applicant and a network of relationships within this area would be seen as advantageous. Travel around the UK and to Godel’s offices based in Belarus will also be a necessity.

Responsibilities will include

Service delivery Team:

  • Manage, motivate and mentor a highly performing service delivery team, introducing goals and control throughout this process
  • Lead day to day leadership and management which aligns with the core values of the company
  • Provide support, and direction of best practice approaches to problem solving
  • Innovate and execute service delivery performance management and reporting providing visibility and timely/accurate metrics to measure the performance of personnel within the department
  • Responsible for recruitment and scaling of the department as and when this is identified as a necessity


  • Maintain a full awareness of the delivery and performance management of all of the service delivery teams “live” engagements, demonstrating skill and support to escalate any concerns throughout this process
  • Build and retain strong relationships with the entire Godel client base
  • To be responsible and visible to all Godel clients that you are the ultimate escalation point in the UK
  • You will be expected to be able to support, discover and identify solutions where Godel can become a key contributor to the clients current challenges


  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes and personnel designed to accommodate the scaling objectives of the company
  • Develop and prepare key service delivery reporting packages including weekly updates, monthly operational review presentations and quarterly board meeting reports.
  • Attendance of quarterly board meetings will be required where KPI’s for the department will be presented upon and discussed.
